I grew up in rooms that held their breath… spaces harboring the peculiar, heavy silence of a child learning to become small. My practice acts as a reclamation of those dark blue years: threading beads onto children’s dresses becomes an act of love, while preserving 1970s ephemera serves as an elegy of memory.

Every surface is an intentional architecture; the rhythmic pulse of the beading and the friction of combined textures are choreographed to bridge the distance between my history and the viewer’s present. By physicalizing private silences into ornate, tangible objects, I invite the viewer to inhabit them… transforming a once-solitary existence into a shared, resonant dialogue.
